TL DR: No DH6 development plans as of yet, DH5 will still continue.Īs for me, let’s just say I’ll keep up with whatever changes they’ll implement and follow upon whatever new features DH6 has to offer. The good news would be that they might be releasing their plans for 2017 in a while, so let’s await for that. It would be interesting to see what new changes they will bring beyond that period. While I’m unaware of the content that is being developed past the Adamant Alliance series of updates, which are to conclude sometime in March 2017. Essentially this means that DH5 is going to be staying around for a while. However, upon clarifying with the devs, this piece of juicy news lacks authenticity since the mid-year takeover from Vivendi has changed the direction of the DH title. This surpasses its immediate predecessors of DH3 (< 2 years, Dec 2011 – Apr 2013) and DH4 ( ~1 year, Apr 2013 – Mar 2014). Not surprisingly, this ties in with what the community have been predicting so far, that the active lifespan ( ie duration between each installation) of the game app would last for approximately 2 years thereabout. Bright color palette and humongous monsters, I guess this is going to be the less gritty future of DH6 (Credit: DN Reviews – GL’s presentation) Relayed in GL’s March presentation, the game is set for release in the 4th Quarter of 2017. No known official announcements have been made as of now and the closest we get is a quick search on Google.Īn entry showed that DH6 has been (un)officially announced from a secondary source, DN Reviews, bringing to us the hopes ( and concerns) of the launch of the next installation of DH. The first question that everyone would have on their minds would be… when is the next installation of DH coming out?
